This special project involved building a custom diving tender for the 94m Feadship superyacht ‘VIVA’ – one of the largest superyachts in the world.

One of the main requirements of this special project was for the RIB to be lifted into and stored in the yacht’s tender garage. The garage was not high enough for the standard Protector Chase, so the Bimini top and windscreen were specially engineered to fold down, allowing just enough clearance for it to be stowed onboard. The tender needed to be suitable for diving activities, so the RIB features removable quad and double dive racks, and a swim platform on the transom allows easy access into and out of the water. The Protector 410 Chase is already one of our most spacious models, but a customised layout provides even more room in the cockpit for the divers to move around, get ready to dive and relax afterwards.
No superyacht tender is complete without an impressive sound system, so ten speakers and subwoofer were fitted for an immersive surround-sound experience. Plus, with blue underwater lighting to the transom and white deck lights to match the mothership, this Protector will be turning heads wherever she goes.
